Draft — not yet finalised. This page describes, at a high level, the kinds of information TrainSquad expects to collect and why. It is a placeholder for App Store / Play Store submission and pre-launch review, and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It will be replaced with a complete, binding privacy policy before any real athlete data is collected or the app is publicly launched.

Privacy Policy

Draft prepared 27 August 2026 · Not yet in effect

Who we are

TrainSquad is a trading name of G Agarwal & S.J. Dinneen (Partnership), ABN 95 813 008 322, based in Melbourne, Australia. TrainSquad is a coaching marketplace connecting athletes, coaches and clubs across running, triathlon, cycling and swimming.

What we expect to collect

Account & identity

Name, email, date of birth, and profile information you provide when you create an account.

Training & health-adjacent data

Intake details, goals, self-reported experience level, injury history you choose to share with your coach, and performance data such as personal bests. This category is handled with the strictest access controls — visible only to you and the coach assigned to you.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. TrainSquad does not directly store your card details — Stripe handles this on our behalf.

Connected services

If you choose to connect Strava or similar services, we access the training data you authorise us to see.

Device & usage data

Basic technical information (device type, app version, crash logs) to keep the app working reliably.

How we intend to use it

Who can see what

Coaching notes, intake information and goals are visible only to you and your assigned coach — not to club administrators, other coaches, or anyone outside that relationship, unless you choose to share it. Club membership and activity are never visible across clubs.

Third parties we expect to use

Stripe (payments), Supabase (data hosting and authentication), Strava (optional training data, with your permission), and standard app infrastructure providers (crash reporting, push notifications).

Your rights

Once finalised, this policy will set out how to access, correct, or delete your data, in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you have questions in the meantime, contact us at the address below.
